We are attracting and are effectively in ministry with young families, children, youth and young adults.

Goals:

• More than 20% higher than figures shown on Conference statistics for 2008 of youth (grades 7 -12) actively participating (at the 50% level or above) in church ministries by April 2010.

• More than 20% higher than 2008 level of children (infant to 6th grade) actively participating in church ministries by April 2010

• 50% annual increase in number of respondents to the Fruitful Congregation Survey younger than 35 in May 2010, 11 & 12. (21 in 2008 to 30 in 2010, to 45 in 2011 and 67 in2012)

Action Steps:

1. Develop and launch a comprehensive family ministry for family, children & youth.

• Owner: Assoc. Pastor & Family Ministry Lay Leader
• Target Date: Nov. 30, 2009
  
• Deliverables: Family Ministry plan being followed targeting ministries with families, children and youth.

2. Develop and launch relevant young adult activities/ministry.

• Owners:  SPRC. / Pastors.        
• Target Date: Feb 2010
  
• Deliverables: Strategy and initial activities in place

3. Define and develop leadership roles for each ministry group

• Owners: SPRC Chair/Pastors.   
• Target Date: Oct. 30, 2009

4. Provide educational leadership and training for teachers and other leaders.

• Owner: Associate Pastor & Christian Ed. Coord.

5. Invest in new children and youth outreach ministry
