Outside groups sometimes use the church facilities for events.

Outside groups wishing to use facilities at Wesley Church should contact the church office or one of the pastors to determine availability and make arrangements.

Useful reminders for outside groups who book the church facilities:

a)    Wesley Church is not responsible for advertising or promoting the event.

b)    Groups should see the Building Use Form and Building Use Policy Statement (available in the church office and here) for more information.

The Communications Team makes the following guideline for what to put on website calendar.

We will include events on the website calendar which are:

a)    Affiliated with Wesley United Methodist Church, or

b)    Deemed appropriate by the Wesley Church senior staff.*

*Exception:  It may be useful, from time to time, to include on the website calendar an event for an outside entity ‘as a placeholder’ (making it clear in the description for whom the event is planned).   That is, it may be helpful for constituents to know that a room of the church is being used (and therefore unavailable) by an outside group.
