This page is created by, and intended to used by, the Communications Team and those working on maintaining the macombwesleyumc website.
- Pages should not link to announcements (which fall away in time). Announcements have a 'timer,' meaning they fall off the website (the start and end dates should be set of announcements when the announcement is created), thus rendering the link dead. The options:
- If the announcement is for a short term event that will not be linked on a page, then just make it an announcement and a calendar entry.
- If the announcement (event) is something that will be linked on a page, then put the information about the event on a page. Then for the announcement (and the calendar entry), there can be a link to the page OR the information from the page can be copied-and-pasted to the announcement.
