Nursery Care

Nursery Care is available Sundays for first service and during Sunday School (8:15 to 11:00 a.m).  If you need childcare during the 11am Worship Service, contact Jordan Rouse (phone number in the Sunday bulletin).  The Nursery can also be available during other church activities. 

Our nursery supports parents and grandparents by providing a safe, Christian atmosphere for the youngest members of our church family during worship services, Sunday school, special events and small-group meetings. We strive to help your child build trusting relationships and feel a sense of belonging by reaching out in love and understanding.

Our Caregivers

People who work in Wesley’s nursery ministry:

• • Enjoy being with children
  • Have child care skills that include bottle feeding, burping, diaper changing, holding, soothing, and engaging infants and toddlers in play
  • Have completed CPR and first aid training
  • Have had state and federal background checks (caregivers 18 and older)
  • Show patience and love for children
  • Understand and use appropriate behavior-management techniques for toddlers.

Junior Caregivers

We also have junior caregivers (ages 11 to 13) who are are also important to our nursery ministry. They help caregivers by getting items from diaper bags, reading stories, playing with children, helping with snacks and pick-up time, and cleaning toys.
